Handcrafted Soap

We've developed just the right combination of ingredients to provide rich, creamy lather in a mild, long-lasting bar of soap. We make our soap in Austin using the traditional cold process method, combining vegetable oils selected for the properties they contribute to the soap: olive, rice bran, and shea butter for conditioning, palm for staying power, and coconut for lathering and cleansing.

Glycerin, which attracts moisture to the skin, is released from the oils during the soapmaking process and retained in the finished bars. A small percentage of the oils remains in the soap as well, making it even milder on your skin.

The rich colors come from cosmetic-grade pigments and dyes or natural plant sources. The scents are courtesy of natural essential oils and quality fragrance oils.

We take the time to bevel all the edges of our soaps, so they glide smoothly across the skin from the very first use.

Any soap will melt if it sits in water, and handcrafted soap, with its natural glycerin content and lack of synthetic additives, is particularly susceptible. Storing your soap out of the direct shower stream and using a draining soapdish to let it dry between uses will greatly prolong its life.
