Close-up of the mold end, with slots and recess for
fingertips.
Insert tip of flat screwdriver into the lower slot
on the end, and press down against base to make the end piece start
sliding up.
Pull the end piece up to remove it from the mold.
Repeat process with the other end.
Insert dowel rod through the hole in one side of mold, then through
"Ducky," then through the other side of the mold. Press
down against the end of the mold to make the soap log and mold sides
start sliding toward you.
Press on the base of the mold on one side to hold it
in place, and use the hole on the other side to slide the soap and
the mold sides off the base.
Place the soap log on the table.
Press down on the soap log with one hand (I put a
paper towel over the soap to avoid smudges) and use the finger hole
to grip one side and lift it straight up to slide it off the soap.
Rotate the soap (or just switch hands) and repeat this
process with the other side piece.
Completely unmolded soap log sitting on one of the
side pieces, ready to cut.
